The Milton Keynes Dons Supporters Association are aware that some of our members with disabilities are not at present as fully involved as they would like to be. We are committed to meeting the needs of ALL our members, and to this end we are working together with the
National Association Of Disabled Supporters
Details of which can be found at www.nads.org.uk
A representative from NADS recently accepted an invitation from the Milton Keynes Dons Supporters Association to visit us here at the National Hockey Stadium. Two of our committee members, Brenda Vidal and Franco Volpe met with the NADS representative Ted Gascoyne, and were also joined by two of our disabled supporters George Monaghan and Lee Downes. We were also pleased that Milton Keynes Dons FC supported the visit and we were joined by Acting Chief Executive John Cove, whose input was invaluable, particularly with regard to the clubs response to the needs of disabled supporters on matchdays.
A more detailed report of how we plan to apply any suggestions resulting from this visit will be on our website as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, we would like to hear from YOU, our disabled supporters. What would you like to see done? How can you become more involved?
Please contact us with questions, ideas, comments, suggestions either via email
( )or in person in the bar on matchdays, where we can be found at the membership table.
