1. An Academy player recently returned from The States having been the first MKDons player to undergo revolutionary treatment by a leading surgeon who will in future be used by the Club for serious cruciate injuries.

 

2. A DIY store is rumoured to be the latest to purchase land at Denbigh.

 

3. The Club are considering using either a Blue or a Yellow away kit.

 

4. The club are considering asking the SA to provide a plane to take players, staff and supporters to Portugal for their preseason tour.

 

5. A senior member of staff formerly from Aston Villa is due to start work for The Dons shortly.

 

6. The club have been approached by a player from Portugal who is interested in playing for the Dons and he will meet up with the team on their pre season tour.

 

7. The recent heatwave has forced players to change their training sessions to start at 7am in order to avoid sunstroke.

 

8. Invites to the Academy opening are being issued and a special invite has been sent to an interested Ipswich supporter.

 

9. A specially chartered transport vehicle is delivering the bubble components so that the erecting of the bubble can take place soon.

1.    Alex Tapp is making steady progress and hopes to be back for the pre-season friendlies though he is yet to get back in training - it is also rumoured that he recently signed a new one year contract

3.    Don Howe,  was at the Bristol City game behind the Media Section. He was sat next to Terry Murphy, Chief Scout of Tottenham Hotspur.

The MK Dons have had scouts at Swansea City's last 3 games watching a striker.

Trees will be planted on the approach to the Stadium; these will be dedicated to former players and club officials.

Next seasons shirts will have a different manufacturer and carry sponsorship on the back, there will also be sponsorship on the shorts.

Nike plan to have a top European football player open the new store at the stadium.

Steve Palmer now keeps his glasses on him at all times after a younger squad member kept hiding them.

Millwall have been watching a Dons player and expect him to sign at the end of this season.

The cancelled friendly with Buckingham Town will be played in July.

The Dons nearly landed a Tottenham midfielder on-loan recently as cover for Mitchell.

Donny & Mooie are upset after their spare shirts had to be given to huge defender Pensee-Bilong.

1.    Dean Lewington loves his Cricket when out of season. He currently plays for his Uncle's side in Raynes Park but may start net practice with Stony Stratford Town CC soon.

 

2.    Scott Bevan is on record of saying that he did lose confidence recently as a result of successive injuries and being sidelined. However, he is fitting fit and will be in the Reserve side to face Woking this evening

 

3.    Nicky Rizzo was gutted not even to be on the bench for the Hull City game. What many of the players are saying is that they are hungry for First Team football, a sign that the old Dons spirit is returning, with competition for places, something we have not had until recently.

 

4.    Dave Martin is suffering with Flu at the moment.

 

5.    Our lads always enter the tunnel after the opposition as part of the physiological tactics

 

6.    The referee for last night's game, Mike Russell made derogatory remarks about the National Hockey Stadium. This added top the fury expressed by our Chairman after the Hull City home game and is seeking to make a report to the FA.

 

7.    Ben Chorley's Dad used to play for Millwall, for which Ben is the third generation of pro's in the family.

 

8.    Willo commented that as far as he knows, only Walsall have shown interest in signing him.

Rumours From The Tunnel....
 
1.    The historic ground breaking ceremony of the the Denbigh Stadium takes place this Thursday morning with PW doing the honours.
 
2.    QPR are again looking at Izale McLeod  but Izzy is happy where he is. His Agent is confident that he will net 25 goals by the end of the season.
 
3.    No more players contracts are being issued until the Club knows where the club are going on the pitch.
 
4.    The original design of the new Stadium has been changed to accomodate the Hotel.
 
5.    Ex Dons player Mick Harford was in the Directors Box for the game against Huddersfield. He has been linked with the vacant Manager's post at Rushden & Diamonds
 
6.    The Dons warm up in the Home Dressing Room to the strains of Oasis - very loudly!
 
7.    The Ref for the home game against Huddersfield had a pocket full of wine gums! Thankfully, It did not effect his ability to blow the whistle at the right time.

Keep your ears open for news on Ex Bristol City manager Danny Wilson. It has been rumoured that he is on the short list for the vacant managers position with the Dons. Wilson has been available since June 2004.

 

Also in the running is former Tottenham's caretaker manager David Pleat. The former Tottenham director of football has been rumoured with a move to the Dons, and has been available since July.

We could soon be getting a Scoreboard. There are rumours that the existing one tucked away behind the East stand is to be moved out of retirement.

Mark Williams has been approached by Paul Merson of Walsall about making a move from the Dons.

Some of our U19 players are being loaned to Dunstable for an FA cup tie.

There will soon be more souvenir items available in club shop. Plastic cows are rumoured to be favourite to go on sale in the club shop.

Laurie Sanchez has been rumoured as possible replacement for our next manager.

Gary Smith is considering offers from playgirl magazine following his centrefold appearance in Moo last month. 

Dean Lewington was spotted having a sunroof fitted to his car to make room for his “Afro Style” haircut. 

Mark Williams and Steve Palmer are likely to form a surprise attacking line up against Cardiff, with Jamie Mackie and Izale McLeod in defence.

1.  Ex-Don Darren Holloway is having talks with Bradford and Grimsby about a possible move. He has also been linked with a move to Rushden and Diamonds to join former Dons Peter Hawkins and Rob Gier.
 
2.  One of Pete Winklemans Annexe's has been turned into a pad for six of the Dons team while they wait for new homes in MK. They have nicknamed the pad 'The Big Brother House'!
 
3.  Ben Chorley may be looking to move to Leicester.

1.  5 players are on trial with the club at the moment. Stuart Murdoch is still on the hunt for a striker or two to assist Jamie Mackie next season. It is also rumoured that we may see some of the trialists during pre-season friendlies.
 
2.  One of the strikers that Stuart has in his sights is former Arsenal player Christopher Wreh.
 
3.  A pre-season trip to Portugal is on the cards for the team. It is most likely to be during the last weekend before the start of the season.
 
4.  Due to the height of some of our new players, (and Scott Bevan), a new size shirt has been ordered for the Dons, Extra Tall!

1.  At least two more new players will be signing towards the end of next week.
 
2.  All of the remaining players from last season have signed contracts with the club.
 
3.  Glentoran striker Andy Smith will not sign for the dons but will go to Preston instead.
 
4.  Inplace of the two cancelled games at the end of the pres-season period the Milton Keynes Dons will be travelling to warmer climates to face teams from the country that is currently hosting Euro2004!
 
5.  Most of the first team squad have now found new homes in and around  Milton Keynes.
 
6. With the increasing number of French players joining the Dons, Arsene Venger has showed interest in a move from the Arsenal.

IS MARK WILLIAMS ON THE MOVE?
 
Not only is Paul Merson's club Wallsal targeting Mark for next season but rumour has it that there are other interested sides looking to possibly out bid Merson for our International Midfielder.
 
There were rumours that Mark had already signed a years extension to his contract with the Dons at the end of last season. Watch this space!

1.  A former Juventus midfielder will be signing for the Dons before the new season.
 
2.  A Formula 1 racing team are in negotiations with the Dons for a sponsorship deal.
 
3.  A announcement regarding the name change is to be made by InterMK within the next day or so.
 
4.  A former WFC manager and player have put in claims for payment after the CVA was submitted and therefore exit from admin is being delayed.
 
5.  Milton Keynes council are in discussions to change the name of the city to Wimbledon.
 
6.  A former England international could be joining the Dons next season.

Andy Smith to sign up for The Dons?
 
It is rumoured that Glentoran's prolific striker Andy Smith is set to sign up fo the Dons within the next two weeks.
 
Andy who scored a massive 35 goals the previous season is said to be on top form at the moment. Apparently his goal celebrations are something to be seen as well!
 
Andy has also earned a place in the N.Ireland squad so he will see a familiar face if he moves here in Mark Williams.
 
If these rumours are correct then we could be in for an interseting pre-season match when he could face his previous club Glentoran on the 24th of July!

Holloway To Join Diamonds?
 
There is a rumour that Ex-Don Darren Holloway is set to join Rushden & Diamonds.
 
Diamonds manager, Ernie Tippett (Ex Dons No.2 to Stuart Murdoch), is hoping to sign the former England under 21 international after he was released at the end of the season.

Holloway who signed from Sunderland for over £1 million in 2000 looks set to join former Dons Rob Gier and Peter Hawkins at Diamonds.

It has been rumoured by a recently departed member of the squad, that most of the current players have signed new contracts with Wimbledon FC for next season.....this includes Gary Smith who is rumoured to have signed a three year contract!
