Danny Wilson is quoted on the OS as stating our season gets off to a flying start! A choice of words that will no doubt bring back memories of the last time we met Bournemouth, when 5 supporters literally flew the flag for The Dons!

We all have fond memories of that day, which also saw us break the dreaded “curse” of the Anglia Soccer night FanCam, with Gareth Edds securing us a vital 3 points

.

Bournemouth , followed by Doncaster Rovers and Bradford City away is certainly no easy start to the season, but Milton Keynes Dons are sure to put in some good performances and get a few points on the board.

Interestingly, Clive Platt will be back from suspension in time for the Away match against Bristol City, will he start the match or be on the bench? One to look out for!

September is the month we face the “Bees”…..that is Brentford, Barnsley and Blackpool!!! Danny Wilson was rumoured at the end of last season to be leaving The Dons for Barnsley, however we are more than happy that he will be visiting them with his Manager’s position here still intact.

And what an end to the month, Blackpool away with illuminations as well, family weekend with lots of travelling support is called for to reverse the result from our last visit, a loss against the run of play in the freezing cold, a day best forgotten.

We end the year with a seaside trip to Southend on Boxing Day, and an exciting home fixture against Notts Forest 2 days later.

And who do we get for our last home match, none other than Tranmere Rovers! What memories that will evoke, though let us hope that any battle this year is taking place at the other end of the table, and maybe our elation will be for a place in the playoffs rather than survival. Well, we can dream can’t we? And as last season proved, absoloutely ANYTHING is possible.

COME ON YOU DONS!
